HighTechXL opened the trading at Euronext Amsterdam on 2 December 2016 to celebrate the seven start-ups graduating from their fourth intensive accelerator program. They were selected from over 10,000 high-tech start-ups worldwide. After four months of the program, the companies are well on their way to seed round financing and deals with technology, supply chain and distribution partners.
After sounding the gong, Euronext hosted an event where the fledgling companies pitched to potential investors (corporate investors such as KLM, Leapfunder and Angel investors, as well as individual investors) and associates of program partners, such as EY and ABN AMRO.
Eric Broekhuizen, Chief Operating Officer of HighTech XL, said of the event: “HighTech XL helps promising high-tech start-ups in their growth acceleration. By opening our network to these start-ups, we stimulate them to have a smooth lift off. Sounding the gong is symbol of the ambition of our startups and their success.”
