Figaec Aéro receives the ‘Showcase of Future Industry’ Award
Euronext is proud to relay that one of its listed companies, Figeac Aéro, has received the label ‘Showcase of Future Industry’ label, awarded by ‘L’Alliance Industrie du Futur’, in the presence of Christophe Sirugue, the French Secretary of State for Industry.
This state-supported label aims to give visibility to innovative French technology solutions and to share best practices with the national ecosystem.
‘L’Alliance Industrie du Futur’ thus distinguished the aircraft parts manufacturer at the highest level for implementing an innovative and integrated production line fitted to produce new generation intermediary shells as part of the LEAP program.
Figeac Aéro, a leading partner of major aerospace manufacturers, specialises in the production of light alloy and hard metal structural parts, engine parts, landing gear parts and sub-assemblies. An international group with a workforce nearly 3,000 employees, Figeac Aéro operates in France, the United States, Morocco, Mexico and Tunisia. In the year ended 31 March 2016, the Group reported annual revenue of €252.3 million; its year-end order backlog was €3.9 billion. Figeac Aéro has been listed on Euronext Paris since December 2013 and currently has a market capitalization of € 665 million.
