EnterNext hosted the April's TechShare evening session
On April 4 2016, EnterNext hosted the TechShare class for an evening session focused on the business practices, regulatory obligations and market conditions that affect listed companies on a daily basis.
Evening sessions are held once a month and focus on a particular theme related to the listing process and other aspects of business development, with presentations from the Euronext management and external financial experts.
The session was designed to be engaging and fast paced, beginning with a short quiz and introduction to the workings of the financial markets, led by EnterNext CEO Eric Forest.
In order to give TechShare participants practical examples of how to address the key issues that would affect their companies were they to enter onto the stock market, Post-Listing Services Manager Nicolas Meunier and Business Development & Client Coverage Manager Guillaume Morelli presented several case studies addressing questions including how to respond to market volatility and how to communicate around results announcements.
Fabrice Rahmouni from the index team also gave an overview of indices activity and their added value for listed companies.
Following the presentations from Euronext's experts, Martine Charbonnier and Etienne Cunin of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) provided a brief overview of the role of the institution, before explaining in more detail the relationship between the financial regulator and listed companies and their respective obligations.
Finally, Aaron Bensimon, CEO of a molecular diagnostics and technology company Genomic Vision (which is listed on Euronext) gave a speech on his experience of managing a listed company.
