Sylvain Gauthier - EasyVista
Sylvain Gauthier, CEO of EasyVista, which he co-founded with Jamal Labed in 1985, shares his company’s activity and story as a global leader in the consumerisation of service management solutions and leader in France in SaaS IT Service Management solutions and appstores for mid to large-sized enterprises.
EasyVista help modern CIOs bring consumerised services to market quickly, allowing them to embrace the social, shifting, flattening and emerging realities of today’s digital enterprise. The company allows them to become the “Chief Service Provider” that modern organisations require, reducing time-to-market and driving efficiencies across the entire enterprise.
Sylvain Gauthier also explains the reasons for EasyVista’s IPO on Euronext ten years ago (October 2005), which enabled the company to raise funds (5 million euros) for its international growth, increase its credibility, and encourage the delivery of a clear strategy that is constantly challenged by analysts.
Finally, Sylvain shares on his personal background as a serial entrepreneur who created EasyVista (then called Staff & Line), and how it’s the creativity of this job that thrills him, much like a fashion designer who constantly needs to find new ideas and get inspiration from clients and current trends.
This is a fascinating story of progress that proves that innovation is part of the company’s DNA. Having started with Minitels and floppy disks, today EasyVista produces software that runs on smartphones and has clients with 3 million users who connect with each other daily on its ten data centres across the world.
EasyVista delivers high-performing solutions to more than 900 customers in banking, insurance, higher education, healthcare, government, IT outsourcing and consulting, and has a direct presence around the world with offices in the US, Canada, France, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
