BIOCORP wins 2017 eHeatlth Summer University Trophy with Inspair
BIOCORP's innovative solution, Inspair won the award of the best connected device innovation on the 5th of July at the international eHealth Summer University 2017.
Inspair is a healthcare solution for respiratory chronic conditions – like asthma and COPD – enhancing treatment compliance to inhaled therapies while supporting patients to improve their inhalation technique. Inspair is a healthcare solution which aims to improve the administration of inhalation therapies and optimise their efficacy. Its intelligent sensor fits onto inhalers to record inhale data. This data is sent by Bluetooth to a mobile application in order to feed information to digital tools that simplify management of the treatment and of the disease.
The eHealth University promotes international innovations that reshape healthcare. Amongst 8 eHealth categories and 118 applicants, Inspair was awarded as the best connected medical device innovation. The eHealth Summer University is an event for the actors and decision makers in the health and social sector focused on technological innovation. About 800 participants gathered from 4 to 6 July 2017 to discuss the uses of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the field of health and well-being.
